I am a native New Yorker. Growing up there were only chain processed ice cream stores. You know all their names. It is such a treat in PTown to go to a REAL ice cream store. They have so many flavors, and sometimes its a hard decision to make. The staff is very friendly, trying to help with a decision and a taste of some if you are really undecided. My fav is Moosetracks and the Almond Joy, ( after MANY samplings ). Its a real homestyle atmosphere. The Pizza is just a great. Dont get me started on that! You can have pizza for lunch, and come beack later that evening for an ice cream dessert. Usually you can see the same people working and they are still as friendy since 12 noon till past midnite.
