Sundae School Supplemental
So we did it. After much poking and prodding, Shane and I went to Sundae School for a sundae. And I have to say, “this [sundae] is delicious, but it is filling.” Both Shane and I got the regular sized “famous hot fudge” sundae complete with whip cream and a cherry. For ice cream, Shane chose the vanilla and I chose the blueberry breakfast. Shane thought the vanilla was bland but I really enjoyed the blueberry breakfast. It was blueberry ice cream with blueberries and grape nuts mixed in and it was terrific. I sure wish I could wake to a bowl of that every morning.
So lets start at the top…the cherries are fresh cherries! Not the jarred candied cherries. This was the first time I had seen this anywhere and it’s a nice touch! Next was the homemade whipped cream. It was so sweet and rich I was actually full after just eating that! But in the name of science I pressed on. The hot fudge (which I also believe is homemade) was tasty and there was so much it was dripping down the sides. And then again, there was the blueberry breakfast that I enjoyed.
So to sum up this supplemental review (to our first review) if you’re on Cape head over to Sundae School and be sure to get a sundae. After all, there is a reason for that name.
