What Is This All About?
One day while driving home Tess and I, (Shane) were talking about our love of ice cream. We got to talking that on Cape Cod (where we both live) there are about a million ice cream shops. Some are well known, some are not. After a bit of talking we came up with the idea that we would eat ice cream from as many of them as we could. We would record the results and post them here for the rest of the world to see.
Our criteria will be based on the ”cone” systems.
1 cone: Horrible, don’t eat this even if you are starving.
2 cones: Passable, it wont kill you.
3 cones: Good, average.
4 cones: Great! Check this cream out!
5 cones: Life Changing, this ice cream will alter your perception on the world!
We will be evaluating each shop on the following criteria.
Number of flavors.
Is it homemade?
What size serving do you get? (we have decided on always getting the smallest size available so as to protect our wallets and waste lines)
Taste. (basted on richness, creaminess, iciness, toppings, sprinkles etc)
Atmosphere of the place. (is there seating, something special etc)
Service.
Price.
We will also be taking notes to see if the place is known for anything (specialty types of cones etc) as well as giving directions to the location and taking lots of pictures.
